Origin Effects is the brainchild of British audio-designer Simon Keats.

From humble beginnings in a small barn conversion in the Oxfordshire countryside to developing into an internationally renowned industry mainstay, the brand has developed strength by strength through a genuine desire to produce highly-musical, superior-quality audio-tools, that just cannot be matched by profit-maximising, “off-the-shelf” effects pedals.

Each pedal is still individually handbuilt and hand finished in Origin Effects headquarters, Buckinghamshire UK, utilising the same processes and materials used when Origin Effects started, ensuring each pedal is expertly calibrated, assembled and tested to the highest of quality and specification by highly skilled team.
