So finally I write my review here. QC by Neural DSP is hands down the best device deserving of a 21st-century guitar processor tag. Yes, there are limitations and improvements to be made but true to its Neural DNA, this device is meant to upgrade itself seamlessly over time. The fact that it CAN & WILL, is the best feeling I have as a proud owner of my QC. My personal dealing with folks at Neural DSP has left me in awe of how prompt and genuinely helpful they are towards their customer. For me, they have set a benchmark in customer support and troubleshooting. The sounds out of this device are superb and in my opinion at par or better than competitors. Any nitpicking comparisons are just futile and a waste of time. If you can afford it, grab it. EMI could be great too. Where it goes far beyond the competition is the ease of use and the seamless utility of presets and captures through its cloud integration. The touchscreen is very handy and I can't see myself using any other UI ever again. QC has set a standard for all devices from other company's to follow. That itself says enough about a young company that has time and again brought us smiles with their brilliant plugins. And soon our plugins will be integrated into the QC. Anybody who owns their plugins has no reason to look at other hardware. I really appreciate this strategy and more importantly kudos to the fact that they delivered on it with their product design and performance. The form factor is a dream design. The finish is uber quality. The portability is a no brainer for a bedroom or a pro guitarist. I could keep raving on and on about this beauty. And I know I will wish I had written more in ode to this madness. The wait was more than worth it. Gift yourself this creation.
